Yes we know we are waay behind on our wedding blogs but we’ll get there. So it’s back to December 2017 for this one. David and Simon’s fabulous wedding at Burley Manor in Ringwood in the New Forest, Hampshire.
David and Simon came to JSFilms as soon as they found us after trawling through wedding videographers on Google. They loved our videography style and the way we work on wedding days and decided to book a bespoke package with us. 2 wedding videographers capturing the day from the boys getting ready until the early evening with drone shots of the stunning Burley Manor thrown in for good measure.
This was our first wedding booking at Burley Manor in the New Forest. It’s a venue we know well due to its locality to some of the Jumping Spider team. Burley Manor is a luxurious mansion that offers stunning views of the neighbouring deer sanctuary alongside its own spectacular grounds. It was a lovely, welcoming venue and we managed to get not only some great drone shots of the mansion but also the deer roaming the fields.
The day started with Matt, our lead wedding videographer and company Director, moving between the 2 groom rooms as they dressed, gossiped and had some champagne in the bath… Mark, the 2nd wedding videographer spent his time getting those drone shots and location shots of the venue both inside and out.
The Ceremony was beautifully led and the barn, in which it took place, was spacious and light (always a bonus). David and Simon’s vows were met with laughter and the odd tear, all captured on video by the Jumping Spider team of course.
The reception was spent inside Burley Mansions main rooms, with a Christmas setting only adding to the festive vibe on the day. The wedding speeches were an absolute hoot with Simon leading a raucous singalong to a little ditty he’d written for David. It’s always great for us when someone does something a little different in their wedding speech. As I’m sure you can imagine we’ve heard a lot of the same wedding jokes over the years…
The evening was also good fun with a Mr and Mr quiz and a lively band featuring wedding guests leading the way. The wedding day was full of emotion and love with a sprinkling of fun thrown in and the wedding videos reflected that.
